Sidecut Ski & Snowboard Tuning Kit - World Cup

The tools come in a soft apron/tool belt that can be worn around your waist or rolled up for easy storage and travel. This ski and snowboard tuning kit may be used for getting started and great for proficient tuners up to the elite level. This kit includes:

1. WC File Guide of your choice - 91,92,93 or 94 degrees. Note: 92, 93 or 94 degree guides are recommended for solid skiers to elite racers. Remember this is for beveling the "side edge" of the ski or board. These guides have a stainless steel plate for easier gliding, less friction, better feel and to last much longer!
2. WC File - Cut 14 (14 teeth/cm).
3. Wax Scraper - 6 mm
4. File Clamp - for holding your file on the file guide. Choose either a Spring Clamp or the Trigger Clamping System.
5. Base Bevel Guide - Choose from a 0.5, 0.7 or 1.0 degree guide. Remember this guide is for beveling the "base edge". 0.5 - used for all skis & boards and Slalom. 0.7 - used if you desire less agressive Slalom/GS skis, Snowboards, Free-Ride and All-mountain skis. 1.0 - for easier steering AND/OR used on the front of skis for easier 'turn initiation'.
6. World Cup Diamond Stone - for removing burrs prior to filing and finishing the edge after filing. 200 grit (course) is used for sharpening and removing burrs, 400 grit (medium) for sharpening and polishing, and 600 grit is used for high polishing). All stones can be used with oil or water for the best finish and cleaned with rubbing alcohol or warm water and soft brush.
